Tulco stores and services your equipment after our sister company, Eagle Electric Machinery, has repaired any of your spare motors, pumps, or other rotating equipment. Equipment care is important to maintain your equipment while it is not being used. If motors are left in storage without maintenance they can be subject to small damages, such as false brinelling, which can cause a cascade of problems in a spare generator. Regular maintenance can ensure the motor is in top condition after it’s time in storage.
How we take care of your equipment
There are many benefits to storing your equipment with Tulco’s climate controlled industrial storage, such as, an extended warranty from Eagle Electric repairs, 24/7 on call service for pickup/delivery of your equipment. The climate in the storage units is controlled by a dehumidified air system to keep the environment at 60% or below relative humidity at all times. Your motors are monitored by state-of-the-art security systems. We have a web-based inventory program giving you 24/7 access to your inventory at Tulco, including pictures of each item. Our facility’s temperature and humidity readings are charted daily on a 30-day cycle.
